Pertemps are delighted to bring to market an exclusive opportunity for an Audit and Compliance Manager to join a leading global business on a 6 month fixed term contract. Salary for this role is circa £47k – 49k depending on experience with excellent benefits. This role is in the Ayrshire area.Hybrid Model – 3 days in office, 2 at home – flexibility may be required in first few weeks for settling in period (duplicate IT equipment will be made available)The position will be reporting to the Director of International Trade & Tax, EMEA. As the Manager of this area you will be responsible for the Leadership, direction for a team operating within a commercial and control environment. Responsible for implementing and improving control mechanisms across EMEA. Key Responsibilities

• Implement and improve control mechanism across EMEA.
• Compliance Reporting (quarterly statistics and KPI, identify and escalate any concerns to senior management)
• Developing training materials and guidance on matters raised by stakeholders
• Development and support of Compliance Team undertaking denied party testing

Knowledge Required:

• Degree qualification and/or Internal Audit, Internal Control/Compliance qualification. Accounting Qualification (CA, CIMA, ACCA) beneficial
• 5 to 7 years’ experience in a relevant role. Ideally some form of Internal Audit, Internal Control, and Export Compliance role.
• Strong control and compliance mindset, linked to good communication skills.
• Ability to take ownership and drive tasks to completion.
• Ability to work across multiple business functions to ensure the best understanding of process requirements to ensure 100% compliance.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, providing insight and making key decisions.
• Attention to detail. Strong Analytical skills required. Excel skills.
• Familiarity with United Kingdom, European and US regulations would be advantageous.
