Job Title: Care Assistant
Locations: Crosshouse
Pay Rate: £10.50 per hour
Mileage: 20p
Shifts available: alternate weekends Sat & Sun, 9hr shifts with the one service user, made up of the following times: 8am-12, 1pm-3pm, 4pm-6pm & 7pm-8pm
Access to vehicle required: No, however must be a driver over 25yrs of age to drive service users’ own car and satisfy insurance requirements
Experience working with learning disabilities would be an advantage

Duties will include:
Personal Care (bathing/showering/toileting/etc)
Preparing and serving meals/snacks
Assisting with medication
Light domestic duties
Outings to the beach, shopping, days out, playing dominoes, jigsaws and being read a story

Key skills and attributes required:
Previous Care experience with Learning Disabilities would be beneficial
Caring, compassionate and a good listener
An energetic, happy person who enjoys forming relationships with people
Able to drive is essential
A current member of the PVG scheme or willing to register, be registered with SSSC or be prepared to register
