Located: Kilmarnock or surrounding areas
Remuneration: £24,000 – £26,000neg

The role of the Internal Sales – Timber Products will involve:
* Internal sales position, selling comprehensive range of carcassing timber, pallet and packaging material timber, Canadian lumbar, machined whitewoods, saw milling, block wood, kiln dried decking and fencing timber
* Predominantly selling to housing developers, subcontractors and merchants such as MKM and Jewson’s
* Building relationships and managing existing portfolio of clients
* Carrying out sales admin duties
* Dealing with inbound enquiries via email and telephone
* A percentage of your time will be spent cold calling and approaching new business
* Liaising with the production department to ensure all sales requirements are met
* 100% office based role work 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday
The ideal applicant will be an Internal Sales – Timber Products experience with:
* Must have a proven track record in sales, ideally within the timber market sector
* Timber experience isn’t essential would consider other construction related products and outside of the construction industry
* The ability to work under pressure and to timescales when required
* Confident on the phone, providing good customer service
* Team player with a positive outlook
* IT & PC literate and a competent MS Office user
* Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
* Good communication skills – both verbal and written
* Results driven
* Full UK driving license
