We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic, progressive and innovative Primary/Acute Care Learning Disability Charge Nurse to work within the East Ayrshire Community Learning Disability Team based between North West Kilmarnock Area Centre, Kilmarnock and Rothesay House, Cumnock. The team is multi-disciplinary with a strong inter-agency focus with health and local authority partners. You must have an RNLD qualification with experience of working in a community team and an understanding of supporting clients to access acute and primary care health services.
It is essential that you have good interpersonal skills with evidence of continuous professional development. Be able to demonstrate an understanding of the current policy context affecting the development of person centred learning disability services and the role of nursing in a changing clinical environment.
Car driver essential.
Hours: 37.50 per week, they would consider a 30 Hour part time position.
