Production Planner, Kilmarnock, Salary DOE Aspirare Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a global supply chain solutions provider for a Production Planner based at their state-of-the-art production facility in Kilmarnock. My client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-end engineering products servicing their client base from different sites across the UK. The successful production planner will be based in Ayrshire and required to have commercial experience as a Production Planner from an engineering manufacturing background. Production Planner’s Duties and Responsibilities: Adding value to the manufacturing process enhancing service and delivery. Route the manufacturing critical path steps using the clients ERP system. Managing the allocated workload in line with order start dates ensuring production release is on time. Review and implement customer engineering changes and highlight any issues to relevant process owners/line managers. Cost savings with efficiency and effective planning. Production Planner Requirements: Degree level in an Engineering discipline is preferred, but applicants with HNC or equivalent relevant experience who are willing to work towards a degree will be considered. Must have experience in engineering/manufacturing sector Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment Ability to take the initiative and drive for results A fantastic opportunity to work with a forward-thinking business with great talent working to deliver to their clients.
