Role
Responsible for the planning and design of the district distribution network ensuring system stewardship network security and integrity at all times. Undertaking system analysis to determine load/generation connections, network alterations, reinforcement requirements and to derive solutions in line with Asset Management policies and customer requirements
What you’ll be doing
To autonomously design and develop deliverable projects at Low Voltage and 11kv, and support the design of projects at 33kV
Agree the scope, volumes and unit costs to exploit best value from the regulatory contract at both individual project level and at district portfolio level.
Integrate asset stewardship values through sound engineering principles, coordinated planning, design and ownership to improve integrity, safety and longevity of the electrical network whilst providing minimum scheme costs for customer connections.
To produce designs in accordance with unit or authorised prime costs to enable efficient delivery of outputs.
What you’ll bring
Minimum Requirements:
⦁ Either a crafts qualification, apprenticeship, S/NVQ, or equivalent experience
⦁ Experience in a project delivery role, design coordination or network design role
