Job Title: Senior Care Assistant
Locations: Kilmarnock Branch (Areas covered – Kilmarnock and The Irvine Valley; Galston, Hurleford, Newmills, Darvel)
Pay Rate: £ per hour
Mileage: 20p
Shifts available: 30 hr permanent contract covering a range of shifts
Access to vehicle required: Yes, due to the geographical location and nature of the role
Previous experience required in a care at home role.

Duties will include:
Competency & Quality checks on carers in our team
Assist with Support Plans and Risk Assessments with Service Users
Take part in on-call on a rotational basis
Supporting the Branch Manager in upholding care standards to ensure Care Inspectorate values are maintained at all times
Supporting the community team when required

Key skills and attributes required:
Previous Care experience required
Caring, compassionate and a good listener
An energetic, happy person who enjoys forming relationships with people
Able to access a vehicle
A current member of the PVG scheme or willing to register, be registered with SSSC or be prepared to register
