​​​​​​​We are recruiting for a Senior Development Officer to join a small team responsible for the design, development and implementation of technical solutions to support the Business Intelligence operational requirements for NHS Ayrshire and Arran.
By using data extraction tools, this role will contribute towards the delivery of Business Objects universes and reports required to support clinical and managerial decision making.

You will possess a degree or evidence equivalent experience in a Business Intelligence discipline. Experience and in-depth knowledge of business
intelligence tools and concepts is essential along with the experience of using healthcare data for testing and validation purposes.

The ability to problem solve though the analysis and assessment of complex data is essential along with the ability to generate clear and concise presentation and report writing skills.

NHS Ayrshire & Arran is ambitious in developing its Digital services to support organisational change and modernise service delivery for the benefit of staff, patients, carers and the public. You will act as a key advocate of this agenda.

This is a full-time post, based on a hybrid model of working remote and occasionally onsite (University Hospital Ayr or Crosshouse) this can be discussed if successful at interview.

Hours: 37.5 per week over 5 days.

This is a fixed term/secondment opportunity for 18 months.

A car driver is essential for this role.
