We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Warehouse Operative Coordinator / Supervisor / Team Leaderwho has previous supervisory / team leading or similar management experience with a strong working knowledge of warehouse operations
Working as a Warehouse Operative Coordinator / Supervisor / Team Leader your role is to coordinate daily warehousing activities by implementing quality, productivity, production, and customer service standards.
As a Warehouse Operative Coordinator / Supervisor / Team Leader you will also track and coordinate of the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials, as well as the ordering and maintaining of suitable inventory levels.

DUTIES
Your duties as a Warehouse Operative Coordinator / Supervisor / Team Leader will include:
Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials
Ordering supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels
Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy
Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation
Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations
Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds
Manage waste segregation, in warehouse, offices, yard and by incoming teams
Coordinating and maintaining fleets and equipment
Supporting the Transport Manager on minor repairs to vehicle, taking vehicles for repair, tyres etc
Responsible for delivering generators to site
Delivery of materials to site as and when required
Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers
Measure and address the effectiveness of warehousing activities
Control and organise storage and inventory space
Interact with clients to resolve problems or answer questions
Implement new methods, processes, and improvements
Prepare, pack, schedule, and route orders for delivery
Communicate and organise activities with other teams and departments
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
English & Maths qualifications (Essential)
Fluency in English Language spoken & written (Essential)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook/Word/Excel (Essential) and data entry software
Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or a similar management position
Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management
Team working skills
Able to work under pressure and deliver results to a defined deadline
Can-do attitude, self-motivated
